Pristine waterways used for recreation need to be monitored for any hazards to boating or environmental issues generally. An interesting view can be achieved by multi-spectral analysis. Some basic samples are shown below. Normally these would be larger area orthomosaics with an array of NDVI and similar indexes done as a GIS analysis.
