We have surplus Heavy Lift ex Agricultural Hybrid Drone Frame Kits with many new parts, for sale. These are no longer required in our operations as we utilise light weight electric UAV's, for specialised survey services and Helicopter UAV for the occasional Heavy Lift Payload requirements.

Available for sale is two complete hybrid petrol/electric multirotors with hobbywing motors, one partial unit and one frame. You will need to add avionics and RC control of your choice. Our experience included the Cube Orange autopilot with HereLink Radio systems. The basic flight/engine control units from the supplier is included at no extra cost, should you want a more simple system.

We had started a business flying a payload with these hybrid petrol/electric multirotors, but while we need to fly for a long time, (they can fly for up to 2 hours) our payload is light so we're able to use electric multi's.

There is enough equipment here to start a business and have plenty of spares to keep running full time.

Fully assembled near stock version of Hybrid Quadcopter including gas/generator with twin 6S battery backup.

A fuel powered ICE motor runs an integrated generator to supply power to the primary electric lifting motors, avionics and peripherals.

These kits are suitable for advanced users/developers only. Hybrid electric is more complex than standard electric only multicopters. UASA can provide some initial guidance on use and contact details for OEM suppliers of the frame etc.

The MTOW is 18Kg. This includes up to 6 litres of fuel and a sizeable payload. Originally designed as an agricultural drone, these quadcopters can carry spray units or heavy camera payloads. While it can fly fast in short bursts, it is primarily designed to fly slower, with long endurance, this is to ensure sufficient power is available to keep the batteries charged in flight. These images show the standard electric motors. Available in sale are high quality HobbyWing X8 electric motors.
